Did you know that you could set the default SCALE that each channel will be set at within a strip chart, scope, and any analog meter? Well, you can, and it’s very easy.
Go to the Setup screen, and click the SET CH.# button to open up the input setup box for any channel. Just below where you can type the name and engineering units are two fields. These fields normally have “Automatic” or “Auto” inside them. Just type the min and max display scale values that you want for this channel. Click OK. Now when you add this channel to any graph or meter, it will be set to these values automatically! (this includes analog meters too). ALSO - you might know that when you click the name of a channel on the left side of a Recorder or Scope graph, that it autoscales that channel, correct? Well, if you RIGHT-click in the same place, it will set this channel back to the default scale that you have set here!
